"I rub and scrub and scrub and rub so why doesn't the spot ever go out!?"
~*~ So where have I been this past week? Designing this little bugger is where. He's based off loosely on Larue, my redheaded BLUSpy. This is for a big assignment and we were given a lame ass story(teacher said so himself) about a monster sent from the heavens to destroy Earth, and these four unlikely heroes have to fight it. Twig is the main character. He's a janitor, because in the world he's living in(not predetermined what kind of world yet, just imagine) art is never highly looked upon. But that's okay, coz he's an OCD neatfreak anyway. The body form sketch on the right is usually how I start off creating a character. As you can see I went way cartoony here, because my teacher likes cartoony(I'm a shoe licker) So far I got an A for the character design half, makes my toes wriggle. |

I also went very cartoony in that class for similar purposes xD
It's fun though, isn't it?
He had us pick the story we wanted. He wanted us to remake a fairy tale or popular story and change the era of "when" and "where" it happened.
Gawd, I'd love to see your whole sketch book for this class.
And btw, so far with this character as the main guy, the story can so totally not be lame xD
