Hi guise! Haven't updated my journal in a while. Anyway I am hoping to start up commissions again, even though the previous times usually ended in failure. eh eh.
I'm only going to take chibi commissions because those can be completed faster, and I'm sure everyone wants to get their commissions faster amirite.
I've done my research and have priced them accordingly. I'm doing commissions again because I'll be going to Hong Kong to further my studies at SCAD for illustration. The tuition fees are extremely steep and as such my parents won't be providing for my housing/living costs. I'm working part-time now to earn money to support myself in the next 2 and 1/2 years, but when I am in Hong Kong I will not be able to work because of...constraints and legal stuff. :C
So I'm trying to earn up a little more money from doing commissions as well. Even if you're not going to buy a commission, it'll help to spread the word! <3

Women's day my arse. Why don't I ever hear a ruckus being made about international men's day. Why is it always about those PINK RIBBONS FOR BREAST CANCER but never about the blue one for prostate cancer?
Why is it when sex happens the man is always in the wrong. Women can't rape men too?
NO OFFENSE BUT IN THE MODERN WORLD OF TODAY WOMEN ARE BEING CUT TOO MUCH SLACK AND ARE WAY OVERRATED.
Sure your fore(mothers) were heavily surpressed and everyone was sexist against them back then, BUT THAT WAS BACK THEN AND NOW IS NOW.

CHILDHOOD GONE FOREVER

XMAS XCHANGE TIEM

Miserable journal was miserable.
Time for a change.
IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS GAIS, AND SERIOUSLY, IF I DON'T SEND THEM GIFTS OUT NOW NO ONE IS GUNNA RECIEVE THEM IN TIME.
Like last year, I want to do another xmas xchange!!! Just tell me if you want to do an exchange with me.
Also, a few 'rules', after last year's experience.
Tell me if you're sending a parcel, or a letter/card. There's nothing wrong with sending just a letter wishing me a merry xmas or a drawing and the like, but do tell me so we don't have fail exchanges in which:
1) I send you a parcel and you send me a letter
2) or I send you a letter and you send me a parcel
We all want the exchanges to be fair, right? <3
ALSO, if you're sending a PARCEL, do apply for REGISTERED MAIL.
I pay for registered mail with all my parcels to ensure it doesn't get lost and you recieve your gift. I had up to THREE exchanges last year where I sent out parcels and recieved nothing in return, and while I believe 100% the reasoning that 'Yes I did send out the parcel but it got lost', it still makes my heart pang, because it was not a succesful exchange.
Anyway, last year I sent out cards like these:
and sets of trading cards like these:
Not sure what to do this year, ideas would be nice!
Also I watched Toy Story 3 a few days ago, the plot was really kinda...IDK short? Not the best, but the rendering is certainly a step up from their previous two movies, and the characters are as usual wonderful.
My love for Buzz/Woody is renewed!!
AND I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR THESE BUT THEY DON'T EXIST WHERE I'M LIVING WTF:

Don't you hate living someplace which doesn't sell awesome stuff locally. My friend told me she bought the Woody doll from WALMART. THAT EASY. SIGH.
